Farhad Mafie enjoyed Nader Naderpour’s poetry, essays, and weekly TV programs in 1970s in Iran. After the Islamic revolution of 1979, Farhad had the honor of meeting Nader Naderpour in person during one of his lectures in the United States. That friendship lasted until Naderpour’s passing in 2000. Farhad was supporting Naderpour’s classes’ at UC Irvine, UCLA, etc., and since his passing, Farhad has published a book on Naderpour and his work as well as maintaining this website to share Naderpour’s outstanding work with his fan.
